About My Clients
Is your nervousness stopping you from enjoying life? Do you dread going into work each morning? Are you sad or anxious more often than not? Do you struggle with your personal relationships? By overcoming stumbling blocks of anxiety, depression, poor interpersonal relationships, and other issues, I believe you can cultivate satisfaction and happiness.
My Background and Approach
My passion is helping others to grow emotionally, and develop insight into themselves and their goals. I assist my clients in processing life stressors, finding healthy ways to cope with and express their feelings, and managing their mental health concerns. By overcoming their stumbling blocks of anxiety, depression, poor interpersonal relationships, and other issues, my clients cultivate satisfaction and happiness. I incorporate psychoeducation into sessions, and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and a strengths based perspective. By offering a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, motives, and behaviors, I offer encouragement and compassion in an empathetic therapeutic environment. I accentuate the positive in my clients' lives, and believe in their ability to change. My understanding personality allows my clients to feel at ease. I also am training in integrative medicine and the impact our food has on our mood. I am a Phase 1 Brainspotting practitioner.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have over 10 years experience providing outpatient therapy. I come from a business background, having ran a successful sales company and involvement in other businesses. Because of this, I often work with many perfectionistic individuals, and those who are entrepreneurs and small business owners. I am rooted in Lancaster County, being born and raised here, and received my master's level training here. Additionally, I am an adjunct professor at a local college.
