About My Clients
I work with clients who have experienced childhood and adult trauma. These individuals are well adept at surviving and use a number of adaptations often find themselves feeling stuck in m any areas of their life. My clients learn how to rewrite their beliefs about themselves and discover their inherent worth and strength they didn't realize they had.
My Background and Approach
I combine a person centered approach using a trauma informed methods with cognitive based approaches. Some of these approaches include art, IFS, empty chair, and techniques of somatic experiencing. I also have experience exploring family of origin and inner child work. I am trained in EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we all have the capabilities to change and grow given the right tools and nurturing. We all have inherent worth and a lot us forget that truth and take in distorted perceptions that really get in the way from what we truly desire, our jobs, our relationships.
