About My Clients
I recognize that successful treatment varies with an individuals unique needs, strengths, and preferences. I offer myself as a collaborative presence and genuinely believe that anyone can make deeper connections to Self. My practice centers around working with adolescents, college students, and adults experiencing the effects of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and identity issues. I am honored to connect, learn from, and witness evolution, embodiment, and positive change in my clients.
My Background and Approach
We will work together to create a grounded and inclusive space for reflection, transparency, and self-compassion as you learn to navigate the highs, lows, and unpredictability that life brings. My philosophy is rooted in self-empowerment, continued curiosity, and values work. Your past experiences do not define you as a person. In our work together, I will support you through life’s challenges and the transformative potential they present. I draw from lived experience, taking a humanistic and relational stance to foster a self-directed treatment plan. My therapeutic approach is anything but one-size-fits-all. I draw from my strengths-based and trauma-informed training while integrating spontaneity, creativity, and humor when welcomed. I recognize successful treatment varies with an individuals unique needs, strengths, and preferences. When appropriate, I will also bring the Expressive Arts into our work as an unconventional bridge to tap into the Self and encourage personal development
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As humans, we all have the capacity for change. At some point, we are confronted with challenging life situations and may respond in ways that do not align with our values. Part of our work in therapy can be towards examining the "why" and making positive adaptations.
