About My Clients
It takes courage to reach out for help, especially when we are not feeling our best. I see you, see the desire to make a change, and I am excited to collaborate with you. You might be feeling all kinds of things, wondering what change might look like or feel like. And that’s okay! I am here to help walk you through it. Together, we will make therapy a safe space for you to be yourself.
My Background and Approach
Everybody is different, so I’ll personalize my skills to you, drawing from CBT, Mindfulness, Positive Psychotherapy and ACT. I naturally use a Person-Centered approach, so you can expect an understanding and calming therapeutic relationship. I am accepting and LGBT+ affirming. I am also Bilingual (Spanish), and work with Spanish-speakers and Hispanic/ Latinx clients. I strive to be a culturally humble therapist and am open to learning and growing with you. Using a holistic approach, we’ll focus on the mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual parts of your life to increase your self-understanding and self-acceptance. It's never too late to start focusing on yourself, and I'd be honored to be a part of your journey!
