About My Clients
I work with clients who are seeking a safe and validating space to explore who they are and what they need. Many of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, or are navigating complex family dynamics, trauma, or burnout. I especially enjoy supporting individuals who are working to set boundaries, heal from people-pleasing patterns, or reconnect with their sense of self. Clients who work with me often value authenticity, compassion, and humor in the therapeutic process.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master’s in Social Work (MSW). My background includes working with adults focusing on trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relational challenges. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. I believe that therapy works best when it’s collaborative—rooted in curiosity, respect, and shared goals. As an affirming provider, I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse clients, including those seeking gender-affirming care. I also work with clients exploring neurodivergence, identity development, and ways to navigate life’s transitions with greater balance and authenticity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where every part of you is welcome. My work is grounded in values of authenticity, inclusion, and social justice. I strive to provide a space that honors intersectionality and the many layers of identity that shape our experiences. Outside of my clinical work, I’m passionate about community connection, creative expression, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health awareness. I value humor, honesty, and the small moments of growth that happen both in and outside the therapy room. I’m especially drawn to work that helps people reclaim joy, self-trust, and the freedom to live in alignment with their values.
