About My Clients
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood fluctuations, and individuals who engage in self-harm. Treatment focuses on identifying patterns, addressing underlying emotional triggers, and developing practical coping strategies.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I strive to create a space where you can be honest without fear of judgment. I often incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help you better understand your thoughts and regulate emotions. For the past 9 years, I've been working with individuals experiencing substance use related issues, legal uncertainties, trauma, self-harm, and mood fluctuations. By the end of this year, I'll be trained in EMDR to help clients experiencing traumatic events to preprocess memories and reduce emotional disturbances.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you feel seen as a whole person - not just a diagnosis or a problem to fix. Life can be overwhelming at times, whether you're navigating relationship stress, substance use, legal challenges, or simply trying to navigate day to day pressures. You don't have to figure it out alone.
