About My Clients
You may love each other deeply but keep getting caught in the same painful patterns, or feel more like roommates than partners. Maybe intimacy has changed, trust has been shaken, or you’re questioning what comes next. I am passionate about helping traditional and non-traditional couples and families in all stages, from premarital couples wanting to build a strong foundation, to couples struggling to connect, to those on the verge of divorce, to the unique struggles of blended families.
My Background and Approach
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is at the heart of my work. I’m a Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor, and I love helping couples slow down the patterns that keep them stuck and understand what’s happening underneath. Rather than simply teaching communication skills, we work toward creating greater emotional safety, responsiveness, and connection. I’m also trained in the Gottman Method and Discernment Counseling, which allows me to tailor our work to what your relationship actually needs- whether you’re strengthening your connection, working through longstanding hurts, or deciding whether to stay together. I offer both weekly therapy and EFT intensives for couples who want dedicated time to go deeper or need more support than a traditional weekly session provides. My style is warm, direct, curious, and human. I’m open-minded, sex-positive, and inclusive of LGBTQIA+, ENM/poly, and kink/BDSM relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve relationships and lives that feel authentic to who they are- not who they’ve been told they should be. I’m deeply committed to creating a space where people of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and sexual identities feel genuinely welcomed and respected. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, kink/BDSM affirming, and supportive of consensual non-monogamy. I value curiosity over judgment, consent and autonomy, social justice, and the freedom to build relationships outside traditional expectations. You won’t need to educate me about your relationship structure or defend the way you love. I also believe therapy can be meaningful and challenging without being stuffy- warmth, humor, authenticity, and the occasional swear word are all welcome here. I’ll show up as a real person while giving you plenty of room to be one, too.
