About My Clients
You may have built a life that looks good on paper, yet still find yourself overthinking, second-guessing your choices, or feeling stuck in relationships, work, or a major life transition. I work especially well with thoughtful, high-achieving adults who are used to figuring things out on their own—but are tired of anxiety, self-doubt, or old patterns having so much influence over how they feel and the choices they make.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and career stress and burnout. My approach is active, thoughtful, and individualized: I draw from evidence-based treatments including CBT, ACT, and DBT, while paying close attention to the patterns, relationships, and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself. Therapy with me is not just about gaining insight. We’ll work on translating that understanding into meaningful change—whether that means trusting your decisions, setting boundaries without being consumed by guilt, navigating relationships differently, quieting persistent overthinking, or building a life that feels more like your own. I offer online individual therapy to adults throughout New York.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a woman of color, I value therapy that makes room for culture, identity, family expectations, and the complicated ways these can shape our relationships and sense of self. I’m especially interested in the tension between the life we feel we “should” want and the one that actually feels meaningful to us. I believe good therapy should be both compassionate and intellectually engaging. You should have room to be understood, but also to be challenged, notice patterns you may not have seen before, and experiment with doing things differently. Outside of my clinical work, I value creativity, community, curiosity, and finding ways to feel more connected to the people and world around us. I aim to create a practice where people from different cultural backgrounds and identities feel genuinely understood rather than reduced to a label.
