About My Clients
Through varied work experiences Amanda has been granted front row seats to the pain, trauma, rejection, disappointment, grief, uncertainty, loneliness, and shame that far too many experience. As a result, Amanda has made a commitment to being a person-centered, compassionate, and competent, trauma informed therapist that clients can trust to “walk with them”, as they aim to sort it all out. Amanda is very intentional about two things- 1. Ensuring her clients feel safe. 2. Encouraging grace .
My Background and Approach
While Amanda has worked with children, adults, couples, families, and veterans, she is most passionate about partnering with people who feel STUCK, LOST, UNCERTAIN, UNHEARD, INVISIBLE, and OVERWHELMED by the pressures of “adulting”. Amanda attended Clark Atlanta University, attaining a Bachelor of Social Work. She went on to complete a Master of Social Work from Barry University, and then completed a Master of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Amanda is waiting to walk with you, give her a call today.
