About My Clients
Being a woman is hard, being a mother sometimes feels impossible. I want to help ease that burden. I specialize in perinatal mental health to aid new or soon to be parents. 1 in 5 women suffer postpartum, you are not alone in this. I am also trained in EMDR to aid you in processing previous trauma that continues to negatively impact you. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist that seeks to help you identify negative thoughts and how they shape your emotions and behaviors.
My Background and Approach
I aim to show compassion, warmth, directness, and a sense of humor as I support clients to overcome personal barriers. I seek to help you develop a healthier set of coping skills, increase techniques to care for self, and to increase healthy communication skills to aid you in every aspect of life. Seeking out therapy is overwhelming. Finding the right therapist for you can be confusing. Then opening up to a stranger can be downright terrifying. I applaud you for making this first step. I look forward to helping you see if myself and my approach is a good fit for you. I currently see clients within South Carolina virtually. We will start with getting to know one another and ensuring you are comfortable then work on building your toolbox for whatever you may be experiencing.
