About My Clients
Many of the clients that I work with experience related challenges such as depression, anxiety, stalking, hopelessness, panic attacks, stress, grief, phobias, social anxiety, fatigue, sleep issues, dissociation, paranoia, low self-worth, isolation, loss of motivation or purpose, identity confusion, body image concerns, disordered eating, self-harm, suicidal ideation and behaviors, womb, pregnancy. and fertility issues, economic issues, and addiction & are ready to rebuild their lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is holistic, trauma-informed, & humanistic. This means that I view the whole individual, considering emotional, physical, mental, and social well-being, rather than focusing only on symptoms. A trauma-informed approach ensures that I recognize how overwhelming experiences can affect the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. I work gently, prioritizing trust, choice, and empowerment so that clients can process painful memories and patterns without feeling retraumatized. I’m one of the few BIPOC women therapists in my region who provide multicultural, intersectional, and affirming care, with a particular focus on religious and spiritual abuse trauma caused by high-control groups. I support survivors in reclaiming their voice, identity, and connection to self after experiences of spiritual or emotional harm.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Multiculturalism, intersectionality, affirming, and inclusive care are values of mine. I accept people from all backgrounds and lifestyles. Everyone deserves a safe space where they can process, explore, relate, grow, be heard, validated, and accepted.
