About My Clients
I have experience working with young adults who want to take control of their life and make positive changes. I love getting to know people and utilizing one's true self to raise and embrace self awareness for the benefit of personal growth! I ultimately use CBT and related techniques to provide support during the therapy process. I pride myself in being open-minded, flexible and creative in developing solutions to problems and identifying helpful coping strategies.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical social worker and licensed behavioral specialist, most of my past experience has been working with children and teens, but I am confident that if I am able to relate and support them in learning meaningful ways to cope and deal with a variety of stressors that the same would be true for adults who have more control over their life and individual circumstances. I will utilize an integrative approach to help meet you where you are and support you through your journey to having better days and living more fulfilled!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you are here for a reason, I believe life is made to be lived. I cherish traditions, making memories and celebrating wins no matter how "small". I have realized in my work, that psycho-education and the processing of events to better understand why we do the things we do is vital in the therapeutic process. I understand there is a big difference between motivation and self discipline, and the value of acceptance.
