About My Clients
You strategized your life. And then the pivot happened anyway. A divorce, a coming out later in life, a career that stopped meaning something, a quiet realization you could not unfeel. You are at a crossroads now. There is grief in that. Questions about identity, intimacy, and who you are becoming. My clients are high-functioning adults who are done managing and ready to actually change.
My Background and Approach
I started my practice over a decade ago, in my early twenties, before therapy was something people talked about openly. It remains the greatest gift of my professional life. I am an LCSW based in Southern California, seeing clients throughout California via telehealth. I trained at USC and have been providing clinical supervision to associate therapists since 2020. My clinical training includes IFS, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, EMDR, CBT, CBT for OCD, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma Resiliency Model, and Somatic Parts Work. Early in my career I worked in addictions treatment, where I learned that trauma lives in the body, not just the mind. That has shaped everything since. I do not believe talking about something is always the same as changing it. Real change is somatic. I work with the whole person. I will ask the questions you have been avoiding. I will not let you off the hook, and I will not make you feel judged for being human.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in liberation. Not as an abstract concept but as something people can actually live. Whether you're a queer person unlearning shame, a woman reclaiming pleasure and rest, a person of color navigating identity in a world that keeps trying to define you, or a straight man raised in a religion that never fit, I'm interested in helping you stop living in the box you were handed. I'm drawn to people who are ready to disrupt the story they've been told about who they are and what they're allowed to want. That includes sexual empowerment, chosen relationship structures, and the radical act of letting yourself actually rest. I don't just hold space for these communities. I'm part of them. My investment in queer and non-traditional communities isn't something I arrived at professionally. It's personal, and it shapes how I show up in the room. You won't have to translate yourself here.
