My Background and Approach
I am client-centered, trauma informed, insomnia informed, and certified in animal assisted therapy. My heart modality is Acceptance and Commitment therapy which I'll use to meet you where you are at, not shove it down your throat. Here's my approach: Make friends with your anxiety. Wait—what?! Okay, let’s tame it first. Then we’ll work on the friendship. Too often, anxiety management becomes about fighting it, silencing it, or pretending it’s gone for good. But anxiety is just your survival instinct—stuck in turbo mode. Trying to erase an instinct isn’t a great use of energy. And let’s be honest—your anxiety is a pro at fighting back.
