About My Clients
Whether you feel anxious, are dealing with depression, have experienced a significant loss or have personal and relational issues, I can help teach you the tools and skills to start feeling like yourself again.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approaches are trauma informed and include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Guided Imagery, behavioral interventions and grounding techniques including Emotional Freedom, otherwise known as Tapping. I have experience working with pain and chronic illness, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relational concerns, parenting and stress reduction. I have a diverse and unique set of skills as a Social Worker and a therapist that allow me to bring years of experience and background into my practice. My goal is to begin wherever you are in your journey and provide you with the tools, techniques and understanding to achieve the best possible outcome.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is for everyone (and yes that includes me)! Seeking help is one of the bravest things we can do in a world that continues to stigmatize mental health and I am always seeking for ways to continue to advocate for not only mental wellness, but total health and wellness at any age, any size, any...fill in the blank.
