About My Clients
Amanda works with adults across the lifespan. She has a particular focus in individual and family counseling. Amanda works people suffering from addiction and can provides access to medically assisted treatment.
My Background and Approach
Amanda has worked in outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers, prison systems, and privately, with families. Amanda is trained in crisis intervention and de-escalation. She completed a Hispanic Women’s leadership training in 2016. She uses a variety of therapeutic intervention skills including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, multi systemic therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Amanda is an advocate in adoption community. She is an active member of the LGBTQ Community and is a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement.
