About My Clients
I work with adults who may look like they have it all together but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. I especially enjoy working with young adults and women navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, and questions about identity and purpose. If you’re constantly overthinking, putting pressure on yourself, or struggling to make sense of what you’re feeling, therapy can offer space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment concerns, trauma, major life transitions, and other emotional challenges. My approach is eclectic, collaborative, person-centered, and culturally sensitive. I draw from CBT, ACT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and somatic-informed practices, tailoring our work to your needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. As a yoga instructor, I also value incorporating mindfulness, breathwork, and mind-body awareness when helpful. Together, we can explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you feeling stuck while building practical tools to manage stress, strengthen self-understanding, and create meaningful change. I see you as the expert on your own life and my role as helping you better understand yourself and move toward the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self without judgment. As the proud daughter of immigrants and a Latina woman, I understand the importance of considering culture, family, identity, and the broader systems that shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. I value authenticity, self-compassion, curiosity, and the belief that growth does not have to mean changing who you are. Sometimes healing means learning to listen to yourself, setting boundaries, reconnecting with your body, or giving yourself permission to live differently from the expectations placed on you. My yoga practice has also deepened my belief in the connection between mental and physical well-being. I value mindfulness, breathwork, and creating space to slow down and become more present with ourselves.
