About My Clients
I offer individual psychotherapy for adults seeking deeper understanding, healing from trauma, and more ease in their relationships with others, themselves, their bodies, and food.
My Background and Approach
My work is person-centered, trauma-informed, relational, and rooted in nervous system awareness. I integrate somatic therapy, parts work (IFS), and attachment-based approaches to help you gently process your experiences at your own pace. I recognize that each person has their own unique story, and as such, this requires a tailed approach to treatment. I offer somatic therapy in Sacramento for clients who want to better understand and regulate their nervous system. This may include art therapy, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. I recognize that each person has their own relationship with food and with their body, because of this, we will work on an individual treatment plan. Recovery is not linear; there will be bumps along the way and through this process you will not be alone. Your own unique body story will be explored, and we will work together to challenge harmful narratives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don’t pretend that the road to recovery is easy, it is messy, and far from straightforward. If you choose to work with me, I will meet you with kindness, honesty, compassion, and a listening ear. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where each individual feels seen, heard, and affirmed without judgment. As a member of the LGBTQIA + community and an affirming therapist, I welcome diverse identities, relationship structures, and lived experiences. I believe therapy works best when it feels authentic and human. We are all sharing in this human experience and the therapy space is a great place to practice authenticity.
