Asking for help takes great strength and courage. Life can present unforeseen challenges and you do not have to face them alone. Whether you are grappling with anxiety and/or depression, struggling to make important decisions, or want to shed what no longer serves you, together we can make sense of it.
My Background and Approach
I have eleven years of combined education and clinical experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan in a variety of settings. My specialties include working with individuals adults with anxiety, depression and difficulty with self-esteem and setting boundaries. I have experience working with adhd and high functioning Autism (formerly Aspergers) and utilizing games in therapy to explore those identities. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative. You are capable of making positive changes in your life and together we will discover how.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you get to decide what a good life is for yourself. I want to help you identify your values and help you live a life driven by them. There is a lot to learn from the things that bring your life joy and meaning. I belong to the geek and gaming community and enjoy exploring life's challenges and experiences through games and geek culture. I volunteer with organizations that support accessibility and representation in games and other media.
