About My Clients
I work with adults (18+) for individual and couples therapy. I'm passionate about supporting people navigating perinatal experiences, LGBTQIA+ identities, sexual trauma, relationship concerns, substance use, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Whether you're processing the past, managing the present, or figuring out who you want to become, I'm here to help you make sense of your story and move toward what feels more aligned with who you are.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in Louisiana and a recent graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Before transitioning to counseling, I spent six years as a special education teacher. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on attachment theory, parts work, and narrative therapy or ACT. I'm interested in what you're still living by based on past relational learning, and I'm curious about helping you build new ways of being that feel more aligned with who you are now. My clinical interests include perinatal mental health, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I've presented on transgender and nonbinary perinatal experiences at professional conferences and am committed to continuing education around affirming, equity-centered care.
