Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Ardmore, AL

About My Clients

I work with adults, veterans, and first responders who feel overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, or major life changes but are ready to take the first step toward healing. I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can feel seen and understood. Using strengths-based approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), I help you release emotional pain, build resilience, and reconnect with your sense of hope, purpose, and inner strength.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and am licensed in both Alabama and Tennessee. My background includes work with adults, children, families, veterans, and first responders across diverse clinical settings. I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which allows for effective trauma processing without reliving painful memories. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I’m here to help you reclaim your peace, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m a Christian and a strong believer in the power of faith, healing, and restoration. I offer faith-based counseling for those who want to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into therapy. I’m passionate about helping people heal from trauma, especially veterans and first responders who have sacrificed so much and carry invisible wounds. I believe deeply in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. My values include integrity, empathy, and meeting people where they are. Outside of therapy, I’m an animal lover with a special love for dogs, and I find great peace in nature and connection with animals. I believe healing is possible, no matter what you’ve been through, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside clients in their journey to reclaim their peace, purpose, and sense of self.
