About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, and family systems in areas where my clients are experiencing significant adjustment issues, such as neurodiversity in a relationships, blended family dynamics, significant life changes and more.
My Background and Approach
Using a non-judgmental, strength-based approach, I guide my clients in finding solutions to problems, while also maintaining a safe and supportive space where they can communicate safely and openly about the fears that paralyze them, such as fear of loss, disappointment, rejection, and loss of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have worked closely with both adults and children on the spectrum and understand both the strengths and challenges presented by neurodiversity. I have a passion for helping neurodiverse couples build a bridge across their differences so that they can start experiencing each other in new ways.As a former police officer and ex-spouse of a military veteran and first responder, I have a unique perspective and understanding of the relationship and social issues that affect this population.I also have 6 years of co-parenting with my ex-husband and understand the difficulties and emotional turmoil that arise for individuals when co-parenting with an ex-spouse.
