About My Clients
I work with BIPOC teens, emerging adults and adults who may be struggling with life’s challenges and demands. Depression, anxiety, major transitions, attachment/relationship issues, work-life stressors, and the impacts of racism and oppression can distort how we see ourselves as well as how we interact with those around us. I’m genuinely honored to hold space for you as you uncover your most authentic self and create a life that reflects your authenticity.
My Background and Approach
The modalities I gravitate toward are mindfulness-based, client-centered and liberation-focused. Some of these include motivational interviewing, meditation/mindfulness, mind-body medicine tools, parts-based therapy/ inner child work and psychoeducation. I also believe in the healing power of being in nature and being in community and I often incorporate and encourage the exploration of both. It is my hope that our work together will give you the tools you need to access the steady peace I believe we all have within us. Healing work is about returning to center and building a trusting, loving relationship with self. This journey is yours and I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and safe enough to pursue that healing.
