About My Clients
I work with children and teens who struggle with big emotions like anxiety, overwhelm, or acting out, as well as families feeling stuck and exhausted by daily challenges. Through Child-Centered Play Therapy and sandtray therapy, I help kids express themselves and build emotional confidence in a way that feels comfortable and pressure-free. I also support parents with guidance to create more calm, connection, and understanding at home.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families through emotional, behavioral, and life transition challenges. I am trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy and sandtray therapy, both evidence-informed approaches that help children express feelings and build coping skills in ways that feel accessible and meaningful. My work is grounded in meeting each child where they are and honoring their unique pace of growth. I also provide parent guidance and practical strategies to strengthen connection, reduce stress, and support healthy regulation at home. Together, we focus on real, positive changes that help families feel more understood, supported, and confident as they move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and accepted just as they are. My work is grounded in a child-centered, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming approach that honors each child’s unique way of experiencing the world. I value emotional safety, curiosity, and the power of play as essential parts of healing and growth. I am deeply committed to supporting families with compassion, cultural humility, and respect. I strive to create an inclusive, welcoming space for all children and caregivers, and I believe meaningful change happens when parents feel supported, not judged. My goal is to walk alongside families with empathy and hope as they navigate life’s challenges together.
