About My Clients
I have a distinct appreciation and experience working with those who are actively learning to navigate barriers of adulthood, the challenges, and simple joys of becoming the adult they envision themselves to be authentically. I also find deep appreciation when working with children specifically around feeling identification and expression. I am actively working toward my play therapy certification.
My Background and Approach
I joined Inclusive Counseling in April of 2025. I have also worked in facilitation and training for young people around risk avoidance education and general transition to adulthood skills. I have previously worked as a medical social worker, supporting young people ages 12-25 within primary care and a variety of specialty clinics. This came after being a mental health therapist serving young people ages 3-18 years of age in the surrounding counties. I have worked in community mental health as an integrated care therapist within primary care, provided outpatient therapy, prevention, and consultation services with medical and school staff. I have provided school-based services for young people starting in elementary through high school.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is an essential pillar of my practice when providing mental health therapy to individuals of all genders, races, sexualities, abilities, occupations, socio-economic statuses to recognize intersectionality and the impact it has on my client’s lives day to day and how it can inform therapy.
