About My Clients

My Background and Approach
My orientation is very relational which means I believe our connection in therapy is what matters most. Therapy can be uncomfortable and push us to be vulnerable so it is important to build trust before we dig deeper. I've gotten training and experiences that make me well rounded but most clients care more about the value of treatment than they do about the alphabet soup of therapy modalities. The value of our work together is you getting CLARITY about who you are, what you want and how to get there. Often times our traumas or anxieties keep us stuck living in patterns we don't know how to shake. Let's sort it out together and get you on a path that let's you enjoy life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Self acceptance isn't always the direct goal you may bring to therapy but through this journey that's something I see consistently for clients. I personally believe that it is a privilege that people allow me into their lives. My clients let me comfort, teach and witness them during their darkest days. Then I get to encourage them as they grow and start to shine brighter. Nothing compares to this work. I believe a universal truth is all things have balance- so when we have issues there is often something unsteady in our lives.
