About My Clients
I have experience and enjoy working with all age groups ranging from children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings. My clinical experience include working with clients who have or are struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Self-Harm, low Self-Esteem, and Adjustment Disorders among many other struggles that people face throughout life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I take a multimodal approach to therapy, drawing from a range of practices to tailor treatment to each person. Rather than relying on a single method, I work with clients to explore different approaches and discover what resonates most with their needs, goals, and personal style. I believe therapy is deeply personal, and the process should reflect that.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand how counseling can feel like an overwhelming and scary process to start. It helps to have a person to talk through the good and the not-so-good moments we experience. The emotions and challenges we face can be hard to navigate on our own, especially if we don’t know the first steps in how to navigate them! You don’t have to face them on your own. My hope is that together we can create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore, process and grow within. Together, we can create goals and uncover skills to be able to adapt to whatever life throws your way. I feel that people seek counseling for a wide range of reasons; to learn new skills, gaining insight into ourselves and our relationships, or processing difficult chapters that we have lived through. It is my goal to aid in that journey by walking through all the emotions and feelings with you. Even if you're not quite sure where to start, we can figure it out together.
