My Background and Approach
I have worked in community mental health and non-profits, providing individual and group therapy to many clients. I am experienced in treating trauma-related issues, domestic violence, depression & anxiety management, and intergenerational trauma patterns. I provide my clients with a nonjudgmental environment where we can explore, process, and achieve balance and relaxation. If you seek support or guidance related to trauma or culture, I offer a safe space where you can completely be yourself. I have received training in various disciplines, including EMDR, Domestic Violence, and Motivational Interviewing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Diversity and inclusion, in my opinion, should be cherished and celebrated. My therapeutic approach is culturally aware, and I seek to create a safe space for all people, regardless of color, cultural/ethnic origin, sexual/gender identity, ability, immigration status, or religion/spirituality. I offer sliding scale, out-of-network coverage, and virtual counseling to make therapy and our work together accessible.
