About My Clients
Whether you have navigated through life with symptoms of trauma, BPD, or an eating disorder; or you are experiencing for the first time, recovery can be a scary thought! I believe the most important part of recovery is feeling validated and understood by your therapist, in order to best collaborate on your path to peace and wellness - whatever that looks like for you.
My Background and Approach
Hi, I’m so happy that you are here! Eating disorders, borderline personality disorder and trauma are among some of the diagnoses I work with in my practice. I believe therapy is a process grounded in feeling validated, understood, and connected with your therapist; this is why I favor a relaxed, humorous, and warm approach. Together we will uncover how outdated beliefs may obstruct your growth and inner-peace, and as a result lead you to live a more embodied and fulfilling life! I bring a broad range of clinical experience to my practice including working in acute levels of psychiatric and eating disorder treatment, plus extensive training in evidence-based practices such as FBT, CBT, and DBT. I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART); a specific trauma modality similar to EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each person is innately wired for healing and growth, which is what therapy is all about! Through our work together, I hope to provide a space for you to comfortably and non-judgmentally become curious about yourself and your experiences. I believe that the relationships we have with ourselves, food, and our bodies are among the most complex relationships we have, and I’d love to walk alongside you as you explore yours.
