About My Clients
Are you struggling in your relationship? Maybe you and your partner just can't get on the same team. You're feeling unheard, misunderstood and unprioritized. And you might even wonder if this relationship is going to make it. I specialize in working with couples and individuals looking for help navigating their relationships. I help clients see the ways that they might be self-sabotaging. I help them relearn how to communicate and connect, in ways that actually work.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to get you and your partner on the same page. I offer support to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, insecure attachments, and low self-esteem. My overall goal is to provide a therapeutic space that is empathetic, supportive and validating, while being culturally considerate. My ability to empathize and relate allows me to offer a safe space for you to share your core values, beliefs and thoughts that contribute to negative interactions with yourself and others. I utilize evidence based therapeutic modalities (EFT, CBT, etc.) with the overall goal to empower you to lead a fulfilling life and unlock the best version of yourself. I also explore how racial identity and culture affect one's various relationships. I received a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and an advanced certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Long Island University. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist-LP.
