About My Clients
I work with teens and adults on issues including anxiety, depression, sexual and relationship trauma, gender and sexual identity, and body image/disordered eating. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed with negative emotions, overcome with anxiety, feeling cut off from others, questioning your identity, or struggling to feel at home in your body- I see you. Together, we can work to understand how things have come to be the way they are and to find a new way forward.
My Background and Approach
Pain is a part of life, but we were never meant to carry it so closely, for so long, or to go it alone. As your therapist, I will help you identify the strengths and resources you already have and to learn new skills and strategies. We will unravel the stories you carry from past hurts in order to move toward a life worth living, with calmer days, better relationships, and feeling good in your body. I am trained in a number of evidenced based therapeutic interventions and approaches and will work collaboratively with you to decide what approach is the best fit for your needs.
