About My Clients
Do you ever feel overwhelmed or burnt out? Do you feel like you’re stuck in a pattern of thoughts and behaviors that you can’t get out of? We all experience challenges in our lives which can affect our functioning and our happiness. My goal is to help you navigate through these unexpected obstacles that may arise and recognize that healing is not always an easy process.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative by creating a space to work through important issues, teach coping skills, and implement practices to help you obtain a higher quality of overall wellbeing. I prefer a person-centered orientation to psychotherapy because I believe we should not only use a particular approach but rather find an approach that best fits each individual. I also have training in other areas such as CBT, ERP, holistic wellness, and mindfulness techniques. I have experience working with children and adolescence on the Autism spectrum, as a registered behavior technician (RBT) providing ABA therapy. I am also culturally and LGBTQ+ competent as certified by the Institute of Human Identity and have training from the CBTSchool.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I enjoy a holistic approach to therapy, as I hold the belief that the mind and body both play a role in determining our overall wellness.
