I utilize a psychodynamic approach to co-explore alongside you with curiosity, depth, and transparency. If you're ready to take the step into counseling, I'll be there with you each step of the way. I believe that the counseling relationship can be transformative, and that genuine authenticity and empathy is very important in a good counseling relationship. I want to help you find your voice, the balance you seek, and ensure that the work we do is focused on your individual needs and goals. I'll walk alongside you as you seek balance and healing, and would be honored to join you on your journey!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that individuals who tend to be "high achievers" experience unique challenges. These may include anxiety, struggles with perfectionism, feelings of inadequacy, low self-esteem, or "not-enoughness", as well as relationship challenges and difficulties managing a satisfying work-life balance. I have found success in working with clients using a depth-oriented modality to explore the origins of these feelings, as well as increasing coping skills and methods to manage anxiety and the daily challenges that may arise from these feelings. I can also work from a Christian perspective upon your request. I take care not to impose beliefs on clients who have not requested this perspective.
