About My Clients
My clients are ready to look beneath the surface—whether they're facing anxiety, addiction, or the weight of past trauma. They know change doesn’t happen overnight and are willing to face the difficult stuff head-on. They're tired of repeating the same patterns and want to understand the root, not just the symptoms. Therapy with me is both active and supportive: a space to challenge old narratives, take meaningful steps forward, and also be deeply heard without judgment.
My Background and Approach
I’m trained in EMDR, CBT, and person-centered therapy, and I continuously build my skills to provide effective, compassionate care. I also draw from my own life experiences to deepen my understanding and connection with clients. I believe therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll start with the basics—stabilizing and building coping skills—before gently diving into the root of your challenges. I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs, creating a safe space where healing can happen in the way that works best for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to change and grow at any stage of life—there’s no limit to human potential. Mental health challenges often come from unhealthy learned behaviors, which means they can be unlearned and replaced with healthier ones. Having lived with anxiety since childhood and worked across diverse settings—from prisons to addiction clinics to private practice—I’ve seen firsthand that people from all walks of life can overcome their past and the coping behaviors they developed. Change is possible, and healing starts with compassion and commitment.
