My Background and Approach
Our experiences determine how we see the world. Looking into your past and present can provide insight into your thinking. Together we can take the time to challenge that thinking and improve your choices and coping skills needed to move forward. I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of substance abuse treatment. Over the past 3 years I have added to this speciality and enjoy working with various addictions, negative thinking, trauma, and anxiety. Through various trainings I have learned and built on skills using the most effective and leading techniques for your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that understanding the WHY is so valuable. Once you strengthen self-awareness you can change your life. I want to educate and guide others on that journey. I have suffered through my own anxiety and experienced panic attacks and through my own work in therapy have learned to unlearn unhealthy coping skills, effectively communicate, and not allow my anxiety to control my life. Clients have described my personality and office space as welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. I want you to feel at home and free be your most vulnerable self. It is an honor to hold space for you and be including in your journey!
