About My Clients
I work with young adults through older adults that are ready for something in their life to change. My client’s goals have often been to develop a more positive outlook, better communication, and improved well-being overall. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life and are ready for a different path.
My Background and Approach
Attachment-based In sessions we look into how a person forms attachments and how that might impact the health of that relationship. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) There may also be homework given to complete worksheets and readings to continue working on understanding information discussed within sessions. Humanistic The human experience is hard, we utilize this approach to identify how we holistically make decisions and interpret our surroundings. Mind-body approach Recognizing how the mind and body cooperate together as a unit can be helpful in understanding symptoms that are present. Mindfulness-Based Therapy Utilizing mindfulness is helpful inside and outside of sessions to bring awareness to the present moment and what our minds and bodies are telling us.
