About My Clients

I work with adults, teens, and couples who experience anxiety/depression, self-esteem, overwhelm, relational issues, & trauma. Many of my clients are navigating perfectionism, identity stress, relationship struggles & high-functioning anxiety. Others grew up feeling like they had to be the strong one, hide their needs, or manage others needs. I also work with major life transitions: new marriage, postpartum/new parenthood, recent break-up, new career, & premarital counseling.

My Background and Approach

My approach is relational, holistic, and client-centered to help you not just treat symptoms but to heal at the root. I specialize in treating anxiety/depression, trauma, relationship struggles, perfectionism, identity concerns, & life transitions. With a decade in the entertainment industry before becoming a therapist, I understand the pressures of performance, overachievement, & keeping it all together. I earned my MA in clinical psych from Pepperdine & trained at Capital Area, where I provided trauma-informed therapy to individuals and couples and take into account a client's race, gender/sexual identity & expression, and other key identity elements. I'm trained in EMDR & integrate CBT, DBT, IFS (parts-work), narrative and existential therapy. I'm LGBTQIA+/minority affirming & work with couples exploring polyamory/ethical non-monogamy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I deeply value cultural humility and the mind-body-spirit connection, and I honor the unique stories that shape each person’s experience. I believe therapy should feel like a safe return to yourself, not a place where you have to perform or have it all figured out. I see each client as the expert on their own life, and I'm here to support and guide you. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, supported, and challenged when necessary. I believe that many of our current struggles, anxiety, disconnection, self-doubt, stem from old patterns and protective parts that once helped us survive. I also believe those patterns can shift when we bring compassion, curiosity, and care to them. Healing doesn’t always mean “fixing” something though it often means reconnecting with what’s already there: your values, intuition, and capacity for growth. Above all, I believe meaningful therapy happens in relationship with someone who is present, attuned, and walking alongside you.
