About My Clients
I primarily work with young adults, adults, and families navigate through life challenges and manage mental health diagnoses. My specialties include life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, LGBTQIA+ challenges, trauma, race-related trauma, and addiction. I virtually serve individuals from a variety of different backgrounds throughout the state of Texas though HIPAA compliant virtual platforms. My Background and Approach
I served as a dual diagnosis therapist for court-mandated clients for 3.5 years. I have transitioned into virtual private practice as I begin my doctorate in counseling courses this fall. My goal for you is to feel heard and understood as well as kept accountable with your treatment goals. Together we will work collaboratively to tackle the challenges which have brought you to therapy. I am goal-oriented and work from a solution-focused perspective. I understand therapy is not a one sized fits all experience and navigate treatment to best serve you. I have experience providing CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs align with affirming the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from all ethic backgrounds, to include the Black Lives Matter movement. I make it my mission to make each client feel heard and respected throughout sessions and do not discriminate against gender, race, religion, etc. Come as you are to your sessions. You are enough!
