Anxiety is so common in our society, it even effects those of us under the age of 10. I can help with managing anxiety and also offer a sounding board and tools to help regulate it.
CBT deals with changing your behavior through your thoughts and approaches to life in general. With daily practice, utilizing different tools that are available, you can use CBT to have a better outlook on a certain issue, increase contentment and happiness and even increase your positivity in interaction with loved ones. This is one of the easiest therapy techniques (IMO) that can help your general self-esteem and overall satisfaction with life.
Psychodynamic therapy is more of a deep-dive into your subconscious motivations and behaviors. We may look at dreams, triggers, and childhood events and how they have shaped who you are today. There may be revelations we discover that you've never considered about yourself or how you relate to others.
Solution focused therapy is good for those who already know themselves pretty well and need some brief tools to work on goals. SMART goals work well with this type of therapy where we look at specific goals that are measurable, easily achievable, relevant to you and your goals, and time-bound.
