About My Clients
I am passionate about working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ issues, identity, interpersonal relationship struggles, as well as issues related to sex, kink, and sex work.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master's in Social Work from Cal State Fullerton. I have experience working within psychiatric hospitals, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, an LGBTQ community centers as well as private practice. I believe that the center of a successful therapeutic relationship comes from collaboration, mutual respect, and authenticity. I aim to provide a supportive, collaborative, and affirming space to all people and relationships.. I use a strengths-based, Integrative, trauma informed, inclusive, sex positive, and client centered approach to healing, and value supportive, and client-centered relationships as a necessary foundation for healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I aim to uphold acceptance and equality for all, both in my professional life and in my personal life. My goal is to create a warm, gentle, non-judgmental space so each client feels comfortable sharing what is on their minds and what is in their hearts. My core values in therapy include authenticity, empathy, safety, professionalism, and growth. I disclose parts of me that help clients feel comfortable with themselves and know they are in a safe, non-judgmental space. It's normal to have questions or to not know what to expect from the therapy process.
