About My Clients
Do you experience feelings of insecurity, jealousy, rage, sadness, anxiety or obsessive thoughts when you are in a close friendship or intimate relationship? Maybe you sabotage relationships so they fall apart? Or you're too controlling? Do you struggle with people-pleasing or feel like you take things more personally than others? You’re not alone! I would be honored to connect with you to see if we would be a good fit in order to begin the process of healing.
My Background and Approach
My specialty is using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals who have experienced complex trauma of abandonment, emotional neglect, and unmet childhood needs, overcome their dysfunctional responses so they could have healthy relationships with others. I also treat issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, and stress management while implementing techniques of problem solving and coping skills for an overall better quality of life. My approach is interactive, warm, and nonjudgmental. Although flexible, I tend to use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Person-centered, and Mindfulness based theories.
