About My Clients
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by life’s demands, leaving them stuck, anxious, or disconnected from their true selves. Whether you’re navigating stress, self-doubt, or uncertainty, therapy offers a supportive space to pause, explore your emotions, and reconnect authentically. Together, we’ll uncover patterns holding you back, identify your strengths, and develop personalized tools to manage stress and emotions. My goal is to help you feel empowered, aligned, and confident.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at NYU and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto. My experience working with culturally diverse adolescents and adults enables me to honor the unique identities of my clients, as we work together to heal various concerns. I use an integrative approach to therapy, combining evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, psychodynamic techniques to explore the deeper roots of your experiences, and mindfulness practices to cultivate greater awareness and presence. I also draw from strengths-based and person-centered approaches, focusing on your inherent resilience and creating a collaborative, empathetic space for growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, my goal is to help you slow down and create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, challenges, and experiences without judgment. Together, we will work to uncover the root of the struggles you’re facing, whether they stem from unhelpful thought patterns, past experiences, or the pressures of trying to balance it all. I’m here to help you identify what’s keeping you stuck while also highlighting your strengths and the tools you already possess to move forward. I believe that understanding yourself more deeply—your values, beliefs, and emotions—is the first step toward creating meaningful change. By exploring these areas, we can identify patterns that no longer serve you and replace them with healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and showing up in your life. My aim is to help you build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself, one that fosters confidence, clarity, and resilience as you face life’s challenges.
