About My Clients
Discovering who you are in the midst of a pandemic, and navigating school related challenges may leave you feeling stuck, anxious, or hopeless. The beauty of therapy and my aim for you, is to work together to understand your triggers, uncover your strengths, and foster a positive relationship with yourself. Along the way, we will identify emotion regulation tools and various coping skills tailored to your needs, in order to be better prepared to handle life stressors.
My Background and Approach
I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at NYU and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University in Toronto. My experience working with culturally diverse adolescents and adults enables me to honor the unique identities of my clients, as we work together to heal various concerns. I utilize evidence-based interventions to address concerns related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity issues, self-esteem, school related challenges, family conflict, and relationship problems.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I want you to feel understood, accepted, and supported. I believe in creating a space where you feel safe to express yourself freely and to truly feel heard. Whether it is your first time in therapy or not, I would like to commend you on taking this step to improve your mental health!
