About My Clients
My clinical experience includes working with individuals having difficultly with anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, OCD, life transitions, and relational issues. I work from a place of compassion and empathy in order to create a comfortable space for my clients to explore their vulnerability.
My Background and Approach
I am here to provide an environment which feels safe, comfortable, and genuine for my clients to show up as their true selves. Together we will facilitate collaboration on exploring the past, highlighting strengths, and implementing coping strategies. I use a variety of methods to tailor therapy to my clients' needs, as everyone shows up in therapy differently. It is my goal for each client to feel seen and heard and to establish an authentic, secure connection through the laughs, the cries, and all that lays between.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There is a reason behind our pain and suffering, and it has often been our experience to bury those feelings deep down somewhere in order to survive and thrive in the world. I am here to tell you that you are not alone! We all have stressors in our lives that cause anxiety, shame, anger, and so many other big feelings that we often do not have a safe place to explore. I care about helping my clients know the "why" behind their problems, and then bridging them to the "how" healing can happen.
