About My Clients
Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow.
My Background and Approach
I feel called to this work from a deeper place that is full of personal meaning and purpose. Becoming a mental health professional isn’t an easy career choice on so many levels, and everyone comes to this work from a different place. However, we choose to become mental health professional because it feels like an essential part of our life’s mission. I have over 13 years of experience working as a psychotherapist with a great variety of people who have come to me for help with emotional, relationship, educational, and family issues. Being a psychotherapist, a mental health advocate, a speaker, and a wellness coach. I specialize in relationship therapy, trauma therapy, marriage therapy, employee assistance, teen issues, and women issues. A single approach to psychotherapy does not always provide the best benefit to the clients. I am trained in different therapeutic models such as CBT, family gestalt, ACT, EMDR, interpersonal, or others. I refer to myself as an integrative therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an open-minded counselor who uses a non-judgmental, strengths-based approach to help you achieve your goals for healthy relationships, positive change, healing, and personal growth. I create a safe, supportive space for acceptance, exploration, and opening yourself to possibilities.
