About My Clients
My clients are thoughtful, capable adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected despite appearing high-functioning and successful on the outside. Many are high achievers navigating burnout, chronic stress, negative self-talk, or big life transitions, and feel emotionally exhausted from holding everything together for others. I often work with people who are self-aware but struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or trusting themselves and others.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in working with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, trauma and challenges related to self-worth, boundaries, and relationships. Before opening my private practice, I held leadership and clinical roles within group practice and higher levels of care, which gave me a strong foundation in both clinical work and understanding how stress, pressure, and emotional overwhelm show up in everyday life. My approach to therapy is grounded, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, steady, and human, not one-size-fits-all. I work alongside clients to help them slow down, better understand their patterns, and develop tools that support real, lasting change. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to each individual. Sessions often focus on building emotional awareness, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening boundaries.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel safe, grounded, and collaborative. I don’t see clients as broken or needing to be “fixed.” Instead, I believe many people are doing the best they can with the tools, experiences, and support they’ve had, and therapy is a space to build new understanding, skills, and steadiness. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel truly heard and understood. The therapeutic relationship matters, and feeling emotionally safe is essential for growth. My role is not to tell you who to be or what to do, but to walk alongside you as you gain clarity, insight, and confidence in yourself. Healing is not linear, and progress doesn’t always look like constant forward motion. There may be pauses, setbacks, or moments of uncertainty along the way, and that’s okay. Therapy is a process, and growth often comes from learning how to stay present and compassionate with yourself through it.
