About My Clients
No matter what you do, you can’t get the thoughts to stop. They live in your head, rent-free, day after day. They seem to control your every move, saying, “Listen to me, I’m the captain now.” You worked hard to build the life that you thought you wanted - one that felt safe - only to realize that it was more of a prison than a paradise. My Background and Approach
Therapy isn’t magic (as much as I’d fancy being a sort of Dumbledore), so I can’t make problems disappear, but I can journey with you to help you navigate, move through, and get over the obstacles standing in the way of living a life you would love. My approach to treatment varies in relation to my client's personality and needs, but it generally involves mindfulness and acceptance components, as well as changing patterns of behavior. Treatment approaches include ACT, ERP, CBT, Person-Centered, and Expressive Arts. I would love for you to share your journey with me. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to have the best quality of life possible. I started my practice knowing that I do my best work when I can just be myself. And I also know that my clients thrive when they feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I value authenticity, or “realness,” and aim to make therapy an ideal place for it. Come as you are.
