About My Clients
I work with adults affected by trauma, painful relationships, anxiety, or major life changes. Many have spent years staying strong, overthinking, or putting others first, yet still feel overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we make sense of how past experiences affect the present and build greater safety, self-trust, and choice in daily life. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, drawing on EMDR, parts work, and attachment-focused therapy. I bring more than 16 years of experience.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 16 years of experience helping adults work through trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, and difficult life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in attachment. I draw on EMDR, parts-informed therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic and client-centered approaches, tailoring our work to your needs and goals. Past experiences can shape how safe you feel, how you relate to others, and how you see yourself. In therapy, we can make sense of those patterns and work toward greater safety, self-trust, and choice at a pace that feels manageable. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. We can begin with what feels most important to you now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people’s reactions often make sense in the context of what they have lived through. Patterns that once helped someone cope can later feel limiting, and change is possible with support, understanding, and time. I value a collaborative and respectful approach that honors each person’s identity, relationships, culture, and lived experience. I aim to meet clients with curiosity rather than judgment and to help them build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I also respect the role faith or spirituality may play in a person’s life and follow the client’s lead in whether it’s part of our work.
