About My Clients
While certain seasons of life are difficult, they’re oftentimes the catalyst for remarkable self-growth. Whether you’re seeking therapy for anxiety, emotional regulation, self-criticism, perfectionism, or a life transition, my warm, holistic approach provides a non-judgmental space to seek refuge, process, (dare I say, LAUGH?), and heal. We will work together to mindfully observe your patterns, wounding, self-limiting beliefs, and roadblocks, then find a path forward toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
My goal as a therapist is to help you create awareness around your unique lens and life experience, so you can live your life with more intention, enjoyment, and alignment to your highest Self. I utilize somatic, Internal Family Systems and EMDR interventions to help you bring more awareness to where you're feeling stuck, so we can find a way back to a more connected, content and embodied life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
After losing my older sister in a car accident in early adulthood, I began going to therapy. What originally started as a grief journey, beautifully morphed into a lifelong invitation to better understand myself. The human experience can be incredibly tough - and despite what they say, no one has it fully figured out. When we accept that reality, we get the beautiful opportunity to keep meeting new, and more intimate versions of ourselves. As Carl Jung said, "We are not what happened to us, we are what we wish to become." If you're on a journey to go inward, we are alike in that way! I am constantly in awe of my incredible clients. Their wisdom and resilience inspires me to continue learning and growing as a therapist. I am a super nerd when it comes to consuming all things therapy-related too, so I'm constantly reading books, enrolling in trainings, listening to podcasts, seeking helpful resources, and connecting with colleagues.
