My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Telepsychiatry offers more convenience and privacy than traditional visits. When I began this practice, I considered why physicians, clinicians, and healthcare providers who might not obtain mental health care or substance abuse support. I thought of the barriers- there is the stigma, time constraints, and worry for loss of their license. With a psychiatry shortage, many are worried they will have to see their colleague or someone sitting on their licensing boards. Telepsychiatry is an excellent option for these people, and people with similar concerns, to get treatment. I offer visits on the weekends, or after hours, that you may make from a computer, tablet, or phone. "Service" to me, means easy technology, no mental health apps, and also the care and service of people with psychiatric mental health needs. Offices in Illinois
