Therapy can be challenging and emotional, and together we can set goals that move you towards healing and self-improvement. I take a holistic approach to therapy, with emphasis on your biological needs (sleep, nutrition, physical illness, etc). Therapy may be short-term or long-term, depending on your needs and goals.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic model is humanistic and person-centered, meaning I focus on the person as a whole and see everyone with a potential for growth. I also understand a person comes from a system of relationships that can impact their lives. Lastly, I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, including coping skills and understanding the connection between a person’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
